NOS is an innovative Digital Service that enables the simplification and enhancement of operative support for efficacious, efficient Normative Compliance Governance Systems, so that internal procedures can prevent violation of the norms for hetero-regulation and self-regulation, thus avoiding the risk of sanctions, financial loss or degraded reputation.

The Service is organised with a shared framework, enabled by an innovative suite of high usability web applications and widgets for Communications and Self Learning.

È consists of innovative web applications that can be activated singly or in integrated form, to deliver a focussed response to an effective Company need, simultaneously enabling gradual, successive investments over time.

Regulation Management

The NOS™ Norma web application enables the optimisation and simplification of company management of International, Community and National Norms, primary and secondary. The latest organisational and regulatory documents approved are published on the portal Home Page, with the relative enclosures and abstracts. A list of Regulations and all the documents active on system is available one-click. The application manages favourites and provides ready to use document models. Each document may be subject to editing, verification and approval workflow, with automatic mail forwarding to predefined users, upon changes in document status or operative deadlines. Distribution lists and document viewed lists are managed. A Google like search engine is available with user-adjustable filters. The system handles multi-company and historic archiving of the documents, searchable with multiple function. A version history is maintained for each document, consultable and printable at any time. Standard and user-adjustable reports and available.

Digital Map of Processes

NOS Compliance enables the construction of a Digital Map of Business and Business Support Processes browsed to accede to the Regulation, to the Compliance check points and to the related Organisational Structures. The application improves knowledge of company organization and comprehension of organisational and operative changes driven by new Norms or changes to current Norms. Before publication, the Process Maps are subject to approval workflow. The application is integrated with a powerful web-designer that enables autonomous creation of active Process design, drilling down to an elementary flowchart level. Check Points can be inserted and activated in the graphic outlines for Regulatory Compliance, with planning and the calendar for verification activities, related to operative and managerial responsibilities. The Digital Maps can be linked to web contents, such as images and tutorial films. The ABI (Association of Italian Banks) Bank Processes Map can be activated on the application module, with the relative taxonomy. A Google like search engine is available with user-adjustable filters. The NOS Compliance web application is open to integration with semantic search engines. A history is maintained for the Digital Process Maps. Standard and user-adjustable reports and available.

The Organisational Structures

The NOS™ Organization Chart web application enables construction, management, consultation and browsing a dynamic company organization char, at all levels, with overall and detailed displays. The organisational structures can be linked to the Regulations and the Digital Process Maps with the check points. The organisational structures are objects with a status for editing, verification, approval and publication. The system is open to integration with external applications such as HR systems and Master Data to automatically upload and update data. The People in Structure functions are available to search for people assigned to an organisational structure and Multi-parents, to manage multiple relationships. Organization Chart his6tory is managed for later prints and consultation.

The Widgets for Communications and Self Learning

The central part of the Home Page is used to publish News about the latest regulatory and organisational documents approved, the latest changes to the Process and the latest organisational changes.

The Home Page also hosts a widget area used to publish and notify information content specific to Compliance, such as Privacy, Anti-corruption, Italian Legislative Decree 231, Anti-recycling, IT Security, Health & Safety at Work, Quality, the environment, Ethics.

Consulting Users can also view this in mobility, for constant updates and precious Self Learning activities.

The Technical Characteristics

The system is accessed by automatic detection of the users credentials. The suite modules were developed in the Java environment, with open-source components from technologies present s world leaders in Gartner’s magic-quadrant.

The NOS Organization Chart and NOS Compliance applications are also available in Microsoft Share Point technology. The suite application modules are configurable in diverse languages and realised in responsive modality, usable with most common Tablets and Smartphones.
